Ball flight is tracked by hidden infrared sensors, including launch angle, ball speed and spin. This is instantly displayed on the projection screen. The moment the ball strikes the screen, a computer-generated image takes over, carrying the ball up the fairway to its ultimate destination. The software tells the player where it has landed, what distance they have left to the green, where they should aim, and what the wind conditions are.
